Fever Snap Two-Game Losing Streak
Smith, Mitchell Lead the Way
The Indiana Fever snapped their two-game losing streak on Tuesday night with an 84-79 victory over the Atlanta Dream. NaLyssa Smith led the Fever with a team-high 21 points and 9 rebounds, while Kelsey Mitchell added 18 points. The rookie Aaliyah Boston had a solid all-around game with 16 points, seven assists, and four rebounds.
The Fever got off to a slow start, trailing by as many as 10 points in the first half. However, they were able to chip away at the lead and eventually took the lead for good with just over three minutes remaining in the third quarter. The Dream never got closer than three points the rest of the way.
The Fever improved to 6-10 with the win, while the Dream fell to 6-7. The Fever will begin a five-game road trip on Thursday night against the Las Vegas Aces.
