Fans of the FX series "Shogun" are eagerly anticipating the release of Season 2, and star Hiroyuki Sanada has given some tantalizing hints about what to expect.

In an interview with Collider, Sanada said: "The second season has more action, more drama, and more suspense. The stakes are higher and the characters will be tested."

Sanada plays Lord Toranaga, a powerful daimyo who is at the center of a complex web of political intrigue. He said that in Season 2, Toranaga will be facing new challenges as he tries to maintain his power and protect his people.

The second season of "Shogun" will be coming to FX in 2023 and will consist of 10 episodes.
